Description
On the occasion of the second stage of the running race called “Giro Podistico Taormina a Tappe 2024” , an event organized by ASD Universitas Palermo which will take place on July 03rd and will see the participation of athletes from various regions, a specific Mayoral Ordinance has been issued to regulate vehicular traffic, in relation to traffic needs and for reasons concerning public safety.
Given that the race will take place on the following routes:
- Via M. Garufi;
- Via Cagli;
- Via F. Durante;
- Via L. Rizzo;
- Via Cesare Battisti;
- Via Vittorio Emanuele;
- Via XXIV Maggio.
The following prohibitions are established, effective from 08,00 on 03/07/2024 and until the end of the sporting event :
- the ban on bus transit on Via M. Garufi, Via Cagli and Via V. Emanuele;
- the ban on vehicle transit on the following streets:
- Via XXIV Maggio;
- Via M. Garufi;
- Via Cagli,
- Via F. Durante;
- Via L. Rizzo, from P.zza Durante to the intersection with Via C. Battisti;
- Via Vittorio Emanuele, from the intersection with Via C. Battisti to the intersection with Via XXIV Maggio;
- Via dei Vespri, from the intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele to the intersection with Via C. Battisti;
- Via Messina, from the intersection with Via dei Vespri to the intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele;
- Market Street;
Parking for all cars and motorcycles is permitted in the aforementioned streets during the times indicated above.
